Oakwood will act as the customer's primary keyholder under an annual contract. Mobile Patrol Officers will respond to both fire and intruder alarm activations following notification from the 24 hour control centre. Control will, in turn, have been contacted by the customers own monitoring provider, verifying the cause of the activation triggering if necessary immediate communication with the necessary authorities.

In the present climate in which businesses have to operate the provision of a mobile patrol to a site on a regular basis, particularly overnight can be a cost effective way for customers to at least provide a deterrent against third party intrusion and damage to their premises, without the expense of employing a full time security officer.
