Right People, Right Place, Right Time.
Oakwood is a registered member of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and has attained Approved Contractor Status (ACS) within that organisation. This level of accreditation should provide customers with confidence that the services provided are credible and of a sufficient quality.
It is firmly entrenched within Oakwood's ethos that the regulatory requirements that are attached to such an accreditation are followed unconditionally. Oakwood has developed and produced a detailed quality manual outlining the standards that need to be adhered to when all the different services available are being delivered.
The SIA is an independent regulatory body formed in 2001. The SIA role is to is to formalise and regulate the private security industry in the UK and accreditations are granted to companies who commit to being part of a professionally driven set of standards. The ACS is currently a voluntary accreditation that covers all aspects of business strategy, corporate social responsibility, financial management and a commitment to the delivery of high services to each customer. Firms holding ACS status carry out self assessment on the above criteria which are in turn assessed by SIA UKAS accredited body. Oakwood is proud to be part of the 25% of SIA registered UK security companies that have achieved ACS status.
